    It is the beginning of another week and that means it is almost time for another Utah Open Source Conference planning meeting.  This weeks meeting will be back in the IRC room, #utos at 7:30pm on Tuesday the 27th.

    This is going to be a big meeting as there is a lot going on this week for the project.  A few aspects are going public this week, a few projects coming together is detail.  We really hope you can make it. Ooh, and why not bring a friend this time?  We can always use the extra volunteers!

  • Meeting Recap : Feb 20th

    We had another productive meeting this week for the Utah Open Source Conference. Thanks go to John Anderson and John Taber for coming this week and showing some support.

    Progress made this week was a solid draft on call for papers. This will be released very soon so keep an eye out. The presentation on the registration system went over very well too. The system he’s been working on is very impressive and should fit the needs of the conference.

    More great things to come with the Utah Open Source Conference. If you’d like to be part of a very active, very public project please contact us for information!

    Also coming very soon: Utah Open Source Widgets for your blog. Take a look at your blog template and find some room. Its time to start showing off what Utah has to offer!

  • Next Week’s Meeting – Dinner, Tuesday, Feb 20, 7:00pm @ Zupas in Draper

    Come one, come all.  Utah Open Source is having a Dinner meeting again.  The meeting will be held, next Tuesday, February 20, 2007 7:00pm.  This month’s meeting is at Zupas in Draper.  If you’ve never been there, here is a good review:

    Here is the first reminder for the upcoming Utah Open Source Conference planning meeting to be held in #utos on IRC (irc.freenode.net).  The core team is expected to report on current progress and anyone interested in helping shape our own Utah based conference is welcome to join.  Volunteers are always welcome and needed.  Please come to the meeting or contact clint at utos dot org for more information.
