Tonight’s meeting was very productive. A couple of things happened offline:

I had a 5 minute conversation with Mike Morgan about CCC. It appears there is some really good negotiating ground here and it looks promising. Weekend dates are also available, which is good too, since that was a sticking point. We decided to also pursue Neumont University as we believe both are viable for the conference.

In addition, we decided to move the Meeting date/time to Tuesdays @ 7:30pm, starting November 28, 2006. This time will better accommodate schedules of the organizers. This time is only for the online irc meetings and does not affect the monthly meeting after PLUG.

Utah Open Source Conference

It has been discussed heavily in this week’s meeting that we change the date and time of the meetings.

All future irc meetings held at #utos on freenode will be held on Tuesdays @ 7:30pm.

This does not affect the monthly meeting we have after PLUG.

This change will take effect for the next meeting being held November 28, 2006.  We believe this will be a better time for all involved, and encourage others to join in as well.
